Drawing Camp ...again!
Partly because I haven't had anything to write about lately, I never expected to end up with posting blog about drawing camp twice in a row! I went on another drawing camp.
Ultimately, drawing person need other drawing person. We are necessary for the inspiration we can provide one another, certainly, but more importantly, it is crucial that all of us possesses some kind of eccentricity. There is nothing better than a situation where things simply move forward without anyone questioning that eccentricity.
This is one of the few items I've purchased that isn't food. Spending money on things like this is one of life’s few pleasures.
Background play for work. Another time, senpai colleague played *Metropolis(1927)* for us. It was great.
。As with the last time, I worked on my comics. This time, instead of a four-panel comic, I tackled the storyboards (or perhaps more accurately, drafts) for a short story spanning about 16 pages. I managed to complete 12 pages during the retreat! Maybe I could share the finished work on this site sometime this year.
On the first day, I was stuckked at all—to the point where I wondered how things would turn out—but had someone there I can talk to was a blessing.
One is not content with just drinking the broth, ended up eating the dashi packet itself, and another one is doing high-speed push-ups in the entryway without making a sound; thanks to these reliable people, I managed to pull through.
And this time, we made sure to do some proper sightseeing as well. After all, if you’re going to travel a long way, you want to see the sights, right? My photos from the last trip were so bad you couldn't even tell which prefecture I’d visited, so I took that lesson to heart and want to share some great shots I managed to capture this time.
[Add] Everyone looks forward to each other's work, so I had resolved to remain composed as a creater myself. But when I returned home and opened my PC... well, you wouldn't believe it. That resolve went right out the window, and I completely lost my cool. My hands are shaking. Just look at this amazing fan art.(I was absolutely amazed to look a drawing of my oc on the fan art page of monkeyslabyrinth's site. Thank you so much!)
