People who have had near-death experiences have said things like, "Across the river, in a flower field, I saw my dead grandmother waving at me," or "In front of a pitch-black velvet curtain, there were rows of Buddha statues of various sizes."
Everyone has their own image of the afterlife. Does an afterlife really exist?
I think the afterlife is the part of a person's imagination that is left behind.
The images of life after death that a person accumulates while alive become that person's private afterlife. This is all just my opinion, but if that wasn't the case, isn't death too scary?
There's one small, single-story house on a large plot of land, a borzoi from hell running wild because I forgot to feed it, but the neighbors call out to them as usual, and there's one tall palm tree.
Start creating a comfortable afterlife little by little now. It'll only be a matter of time before your memories are packed in cardboard boxes and delivered by couriers.
